The battery storage project in Dahlem, in the district of Euskirchen, has an output of 100 MW and a large storage capacity of 202.5 MWh. The battery storage system is used to provide system services (in particular primary control power), as well as to generate revenue from optimization on the spot market and is connected to the Westnetz GmbH network. Construction of the plant is planned for 2026.
