Construction began in the district of Euskirchen in North Rhine-Westphalia at the beginning of the year. Over the next few months, we will build a battery storage system with an output of 100 MW and a total capacity of 200 MWh on an area of around two hectares. The battery storage system will thus make an important contribution to greater flexibility in the German power grid and thus also ensure greater supply security.
