The battery storage project in Arnsberg, in the Sauerland district, has an output of 8.3 MW and a large storage capacity of 17.6 MWh. The battery storage system is used to provide system services (in particular primary control power), as well as to generate revenue from optimization on the spot market and is connected to the Avacon GmbH network. Construction of the plant is planned for 2025.
