The battery storage project in Coschütz, in the Vogtlandkreis district, has an output of 42.9 MW and a gross storage capacity of 85.8 MWh. The battery storage system is used to provide system services (in particular primary control power) and to generate revenue from optimization on the spot market and is connected to the TEN Thüringer Energienetze GmbH network.
