The battery storage project in Dingden, in the Hamminkeln district, has an output of 12.4 MW and a gross storage capacity of 29.3 MWh. The battery storage system is used to provide system services (in particular primary control power), as well as to generate revenue from optimization on the spot market and is connected to the Westnetz GmbH network. Construction of the plant is planned for 2027.
