The battery storage project in Husum, North Frisia district, has an output of 146.5 MW and a gross storage capacity of 296 MWh. The battery storage system is used to provide system services (in particular primary control power) and to generate revenue from optimization on the spot market and is connected to the Tennet GmbH network. Construction of the plant is planned for 2027.
