The battery storage project in Sülzetal, Börde district, has an output of 23.7 MW and a gross storage capacity of 47.8 MWh. The battery storage system is used to provide system services (in particular primary control power) and to generate revenue from optimization on the spot market and is connected to the Avacon GmbH network. Construction of the plant is planned for 2026.
